Authorizes the board of county commissioners of a county to levy a sales tax of not more than a specified percentage to be used for public safety improvements (tax). Defines "public safety improvements" to include capital expenditures and operational costs associated with specified public safety organizations. Prescribes procedures for the board to propose and seek voter approval for the tax.
