Program
Description |
|
|
Incident managers can often be
tasked with managing emergencies where the complexity
exceeds the overhead’s capacity and level of experience.
This can be particularly challenging as incident demands
outpace the management team’s ability to adequately address
the myriad tasks and responsibilities of a rapidly evolving,
dynamic incident. This presentation will consider some
of the incident-specific lessons learned from the recent
Fourmile Canyon Fire in Boulder County, as well as
contemplate some of the broader implications of these
challenging situations. |

This presentation is being held in
conjunction with the CSFCA’s 19th Annual Fire Leadership
Challenge at the Keystone Resort and Conference Center in
Keystone, CO. It is open to all paid conference
participants.
One-Day Registrations are
available for those that cannot attend the entire
conference. |
