Keeping The Lights On, The Trucks Running And The
Volunteers Responding (White Ribbon Report)
The
Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) of the
International Association of Fire Chiefs published a
newly released report entitled “Keeping The Lights On,
The Trucks Running And The Volunteers Responding” which
deals with “Managing the Business Of The Fire
Department.”
The
first two reports are: Red Ribbon Report, "Lighting The
Path of Evolution, Leading The Transition In Volunteer
And Combination Fire Department;" and the Blue Ribbon
Report, "A Call for Action, Preserving and Improving the
Future of the Volunteer Fire Service."
This
is VCOS’s third in a series of studies dealing with
issues faced by volunteer and combination fire
departments. All three documents may be downloaded, and
we have provided a link to the VCOS website. |
