Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Association

2008 Membership Recruitment Campaign

JOIN – RENEW – RECRUIT

The Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Association is a member organization – the strength of our organization is our members – the more members we have, the stronger we will be.

Join or Renew Your Membership.   Join or renew your membership in the CSFCA before April 30, 2008 and the Chief of Department will be entered into a drawing for a Full-Conference Registration to Fire Rescue International 2008 to be held in Denver on August 14-16, 2008 (a $395 value – member rate).  The drawing for this prize will be held on May 4, 2008.

Recruit New Members. For each new member department, individual or associate member you recruit before June 30, 2008 you will receive one entry into a drawing for a Full-Conference Registration to Fire Rescue International 2008 to be held in Denver on August 14-16, 2008 (a $395 value – member rate).  Ten additional prizes of a CSFCA logo briefcase or polo shirt will also be awarded.  The drawing for these prizes will be held on July 1, 2006.  Any CSFCA member is eligible for these prizes. Note: both the sponsor and the new member chief will be entered into the drawing.

Ø       Sometimes your peers are not members simply because no one asked them to join; and sometimes, they incorrectly believe they are CSFCA members because they receive updates and Email messages from us.  The fact is, if their department is not listed on the CSFCA members page (2007 or 2008 pages), they are not currently a member.

Recruit New Corporate Sponsors.  For each new corporate sponsor you recruit before June 30, 2008 you will be entered into a contest for a Full-Conference Registration to Fire Rescue International 2008 to be held in Denver on August 14-16, 2008 (a $395 value – member rate).  The winner of this prize will be the CSFCA member who recruits the most corporate sponsors.  Every member recruiting a new corporate sponsor will receive a CSFCA logo item for each new corporate sponsor they recruit.  Any CSFCA member is eligible for these prizes.

Ø      Recruiting materials including CSFCA applications, Corporate Sponsor packets, CSFCA informational packets, and talking points on the benefits of CSFCA membership can be found on the CSFCA website here.

Rules

·        A CSFCA member is any individual listed on a departmental application, a retired member, individual member, or associate member.

·        Simply adding a chief officer from your own department to your department membership does not qualify as a new member.

·        The recruiter’s name and agency must be provided on the application form when the application is submitted by the joining member in order for it to count for the drawing or prize award.

·        The applications must be received at the CSFCA office by the posted date to be eligible.

·        The recruiter must be a current member of the CSFCA

·        CSFCA will keep track of the number of new Corporate Sponsors you recruit.
