Denver Metro Fire Chiefs' Section

The purpose of the Denver Metro Fire Chiefs’ Association is to bring together fire chiefs from fire departments in the ten-county Denver Metropolitan area (as well as any fire chief representing an area with metropolitan interest) in order to share information and experiences and to discuss issues that pertain to their departments. The Denver Metro Fire Chiefs’ Association is organized as a section of the Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Association and also serves as the Northcentral Region of the CSFCA.

The mission of the Wildland Fire Section is to bring together CSFCA members involved in wildland fire management to provide leadership, expertise and direction on wildland fire issues, in order to reduce the injuries, deaths, property loss and the fiscal impacts of wildland fires and to reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfire in Colorado.
