Bullies, Victims and Youthful Firesetting: Fire Prevention and Community Activism (6.3 MB)

Youth fireplay and firesetting remains an important concern in the U.S. which requires understanding and systematic prevention and intervention efforts.  Recent reviews of fire incidents reveal that fire is sometimes used to harass others and as a tool of revenge.  This presentation will review the motivations of youthful firesetters and bullying dynamics and discuss creative interventions when firesetting is motivated by bullying dynamics.

Parenting: Fire Play to Fire Setting Behavior
